According to China Customs data, China exported 2.48 million tons of fertilizers in March 2025. Key product volumes include:
Urea: 1,800 tons
Ammonium Sulfate: 1.49 million tons
Diammonium Phosphate (DAP): 11,700 tons
Monoammonium Phosphate (MAP): 1,000 tons

In March 2025, China imported 1.33 million tons of fertilizers, including:
Potassium Chloride (MOP): 1.237 million tons
NPK Compound Fertilizer: 53,700 tons
Sulfur: 893,300 tons
Ammonia: 34,600 tons
From January to March 2025, China imported a total of 3.832 million tons of fertilizers, down 8.0% year-on-year. The total import value was USD 1.167 billion, a decrease of 16.3% compared to the same period last year.
