Uralkali plans to recover potash production in the second half of 2023

In an interview with TASS as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Uralkali said that Ural Potash's production is expected to return to the company's capacity level in the second half of the year.

"The decline in Urals potash production occurred in the first quarter. We predict further steady growth in production, with output returning to capacity levels in the second half of the year," he said.

He then added, "As for Uralchem, we anticipate that nitrogen fertilizer sales will allow us to maintain 100% capacity loading. The ammonia situation will change in 2024 when the Taman terminal is completed."
