Monthly situation in the international potash market

The international potash market prices continued the downward trend of the previous period in March.

The international market was not active with a stalemate between buyers and sellers, and bids for potash were made one after another in Southeast Asia, but prices were low.

The monthly average CIF price of granular potassium chloride in Brazil was USD 471 per tonne, fluctuating -7.19% YoY and -51.38% YoY. The monthly average CIF price of potassium chloride in Southeast Asia was USD 487 per ton, fluctuating -9.98% YoY and -30.23% YoY.

The international potassium sulfate market was affected by the low price of potassium chloride, and the price of potassium sulfate continued to fall, and the export volume of Southeast Asian sources was significantly limited. In addition, by the end of the month, the monthly average price of potassium sulfate FOB Asia was USD 675 per tonne, fluctuating -6.16% YoY and -19.10% YoY.
