Fertilizer Supplier Nutrien: Global Fertilizer Supply to remain Constrained in 2023

Nutrien (NTR.US), the world's largest fertilizer company, expects global nutrient potash supplies to remain constrained this year, Nutrien CEO Ken Seitz said in an interview Tuesday, adding that shipments from Belarus and Russia, major exporters, remain partially constrained and many alternative avenues of product have been exhausted.

"Looking ahead to 2023, we see continued challenges in global fertilizer supply, which will create supply shortages in the market," Seitz said. He added that Nutrien is monitoring market conditions and will continue to adjust its plans for potash production as farmer demand changes.
