Export Situation of Major Fertilizers in China in the First Quarter.

Urea:

In the first quarter of 2024, China exported a total of 25,700 tons of urea, amounting to $9.105 million. This represents a decrease of 92.3% in quantity and 94.8% in value compared to the first quarter of last year. South Korea was the top destination for exports, followed by Malaysia and Hong Kong, China.

 

Ammonium Sulphate:

In the first quarter of 2024, China exported a total of 3.0974 million tons of ammonium sulfate, amounting to $457 million. This represents an increase of 10.7% in quantity and a decrease of 21.5% in value compared to the first quarter of last year. Brazil was the top destination for exports, followed by Myanmar and Vietnam.

 

Monoammonium Phosphate (MAP):

In the first quarter of 2024, China exported a total of 99,600 tons of monoammonium phosphate, amounting to $59.3979 million. This represents a decrease of 81.3% in quantity and 84.3% in value compared to the first quarter of last year. Australia was the top destination for exports, followed by Chile and Indonesia.

 

Diammonium Phosphate (DAP):

In the first quarter of 2024, China exported a total of 141,500 tons of diammonium phosphate, amounting to $83.1194 million. This represents a decrease of 77.7% in quantity and 80.7% in value compared to the first quarter of last year. India was the top destination for exports, followed by Thailand and Japan.

 

Compound Fertilizer:

In the first quarter of 2024, China exported a total of 56,700 tons of compound fertilizer, amounting to $21.7623 million. This represents a decrease of 59.1% in quantity and 74.1% in value compared to the first quarter of last year. Myanmar was the top destination for exports, followed by the Philippines and Malaysia.
