China exported 2.222 million tons of fertilizer in November 2022 and imported 675,000 tons of fertilizer
China Customs announced preliminary fertilizer import and export data for November 2022.
On the export, China exported 2.222 million tons of various fertilizers in November 2022, +11.6% YoY and -24.2% MoM; fertilizer exports generated $940 million in export earnings during the month, +28.8% YoY and -30.4% MoM.
From January to November, China exported a total of 22.415 million tons of various fertilizers, -28.4% YoY; the cumulative export earnings of $10.50 billion, -5.6% YoY.
On the import side, China imported 675,000 tons of various fertilizers in November 2022, -25.7% YoY, +15.2% MoM; imported $390 million in foreign exchange during the month, +18.2% YoY, +11.4% MoM.
From January to November, China imported a total of 8.261 million tons of various fertilizers, -5.3% YoY; the total import of foreign exchange used 4.51 billion U.S. dollars, +74.0% YoY.
